German public-health and radiation-protection guidance informs the wording around heat, children and ultraviolet exposure.
Baby and sleep safety
Guidance from the Federal Institute of Public Health (BIÖG) and NHS safer-sleep information helps set general boundaries. Common TOG ranges are only a starting point; the temperature and fit guide for the specific sleeping bag takes priority.
Car-seat clothing and harness fit
The car check treats a close harness fit as a safety boundary: bulky clothing should not prevent the harness from fitting snugly. The instructions for the specific car seat take priority.
